In 1978, Taylor co-founded Duran Duran with childhood friend Nick Rhodes, quickly catapulting to fame with their innovative blend of pop, rock, and new wave sounds. With Taylor’s distinctive basslines serving as the backbone of the band’s iconic sound, Duran Duran rose to become one of the most successful and influential bands of the 1980s.
