Think of Duran Duran’s Halloween shows as a giant costume party with a killer soundtrack. First conjured in Las Vegas in 2022, the band’s Danse Macabre Halloween Party has become an annual affair beloved by fans for its creepy visuals, rarities-laced setlist, and a fashion-forward crowd that shows up looking like the cast of a glam rock horror film.
Get ready for a fang-tastic fright night, UK! For the first time ever, Duran Duran is bringing their haunted festivities across the pond. On October 31, 2025, the band will unleash their devilishly good spectacle at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena. This ghoulishly grand finale to their European tour promises an unholy mashup of spooky synths, haunting harmonies, and bone-rattling beats, sure to have you dancing until you drop… (hopefully not dead).
The original Halloween gig at the Wynn Theatre in Las Vegas was the birth of a new era. That night in 2022 inspired the band’s 16th studio album Danse Macabre, a moody, mischievous collection featuring new songs, twisted covers, and ghoulish remixes of their own classics. They even reunited with Andy Taylor and Warren Cuccurullo on a few tracks, proving that nothing brings the undead (aka or old bandmates) back together like Halloween.

“We are devilishly delighted to announce that we are bringing our annual Halloween extravaganza to the UK for the first time,” said keyboardist Nick Rhodes. “It will be a unique, themed show unlike any of our other performances, overflowing with shocks and surprises—so even we do not know what may happen on the night.”
“I’m thrilled—and frankly, a little terrified,” Simon Le Bon added.
Fans flock for the atmosphere: elaborate stage production, rare deep cuts from the band’s crypt, and band members fully embracing the spooky spirit. One year, Simon Le Bon looked like he wandered out of Interview with the Vampire. Nick Rhodes, already halfway to Dracula on a regular day, doesn’t need much help.
These shows have become can’t-miss events for hardcore fans and surprisingly good times for newbies. If you’ve experienced on of Durans Halloween event then you know the vibe is off the charts, with fans arriving in coordinated costumes that rivals Rocky Horror. Plus, it’ll be your chance to hear Duran Duran songs that aren’t always on the setlist, like Evil Woman, Secret Oktober, and New Moon (Dark Phase).
Duran Duran aren’t the only band to embrace Halloween chaos. Nirvana’s 1993 Halloween show in Akron, Ohio, is legendary among fans: Kurt Cobain showed up in a full Barney the Dinosaur suit, Dave Grohl wrapped himself in mummy bandages, and the band opened with a hilariously deadpan snippet of Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”
My Chemical Romance has long leaned into Halloween aesthetics, especially during their Black Parade era, and The Flaming Lips once hosted a Halloween Blood Bath complete with fake entrails and candy guts. But few bands have turned Halloween into an entire annual tradition the way Duran Duran has.

Nestled in Manchester’s Etihad Campus—with Manchester City’s stadium next door, Co‑op Live is Britain’s largest indoor venue, holding up to 23,500 fans (20,500 seated, the rest standing). Opened in May 2024, this sleek £450 million coliseum is designed as the UK’s first fully electric arena, with solar panels, rainwater recycling, and a major sustainability mission. Think massive nightclub vibes: movable floors, 32 bars and lounges, and a VIP suite.
Co-op Live is just a 25‑minute walk, or a six‑minute Metrolink tram, from Manchester Piccadilly Station. The handy “CityLink Walking Route” makes the stroll an art-installation experience, complete with lighting and street art. Trams run every six minutes until 1 a.m. on weekends, and shuttle buses are available after shows. Guests are encouraged to ride sustainable (foot, tram, scooter) to reduce the carbon footprint.
