Yasmin Le Bon, the eternal icon of ’80s glam and rock-star royalty, is proving, once again, that true style doesn’t fade. At 60, the supermodel, mother, grandmother, and longtime wife of Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon is still turning heads, this time as the face of George at Asda’s sizzling Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
And it couldn’t be more perfect.
Asda turns 60 this year, and in a beautifully poetic twist, so does Yasmin. The campaign is being hailed as George’s most exciting summer drop to date—and with Yasmin leading the charge, draped in breezy cotton maxis and tailored khaki suits, there’s no doubt this is more than just fashion. It’s a moment.
“It’s a privilege to be a part of this celebration,” Yasmin says, “Fashion should be fun, uplifting, and for everyone. A pop of colour, a great cut—you can feel like a million bucks without spending a fortune.”

Fashion that Hits Different
Best part about the George at Asda SS25 collection is that it’s accessible. With prices starting at just £8, these are the kind of pieces that can take you from the school run to cocktails, without skipping a beat.
There’s a sleek black one-piece swimsuit (£16) that’s as flattering as it is functional. A broderie anglaise shift dress that whispers summer in St. Tropez. And let’s talk about that fringed kaftan with cutouts (£20): beachwear, yes, but also killer with heels for an evening out.
The collection also features a £28 ribbon-trimmed maxi dress to a sleek, tailored £45 khaki short suit and a laid-back knit that includes palazzo pants (£16) and a stripey waistcoat (£12.50). Throw in some gladiator sandals and bold bangles, and you’ve got the perfect blend of glam, edge, and wearability.
This is fashion for real life, not just the runway. “George takes trends and makes them work in the real world,” Yasmin adds. “There’s something for everyone.”
According to Liz Evans, Chief Commercial Officer of George and Retail Stores, Yasmin was the perfect choice. “Her timeless appeal resonates across generations,” Evans says. “Asda is turning 60, Yasmin is 60—this collaboration couldn’t be more meaningful.”

Wounds, Wisdom, and a Whole Lot of Wow
But while she’s dazzling in front of the camera, Yasmin’s life has had its share of pain. Literally. She recently opened up about the toll her decades-long modeling career took on her body. In an exclusive interview with Hello!, she said that her body is paying the price for years for leaps and heels.
“You don’t do what I’ve done and not pay the price,” she told HELLO!, recalling endless shoots in stilettos and “balletic leaps on concrete.” The result? Chronic back pain. “There were times I couldn’t walk without pain.”
She also candidly spoke about the emotional side of aging and navigating menopause. “There were deep, dark days,” Yasmin admits. “I had to find new ways to lift my spirits. I stopped wearing black—I needed colour in my life.”

It’s that mix of vulnerability, grace, and fight that makes Yasmin such a powerful presence — not just as a model, but as a voice for her generation.
Whether she’s offering wardrobe wisdom or sharing the secret to her 40-year marriage to Simon (“lots of hugging, lots of compromise” she told Hello! on 2024), Yasmin speaks from a place of realness.
And we love her for it.
Serious Staying Power
Forty years into a stratospheric career that started when she was scouted at 17 and exploded with the rise of the supermodel era, Yasmin Le Bon is still one of the hardest-working women in fashion. She continues to walk runways, front campaigns, and inspire generations of women, and she does it all while juggling a life that includes three daughters (Amber, Saffron, and Tallulah), four grandkids, and a marriage to one of rock’s most iconic frontmen.
Yasmin isn’t just the face of a fashion campaign, she’s a blueprint for what it means to age powerfully, authentically, and unapologetically. She’s proof that elegance doesn’t fade. It evolves. And in this latest George campaign, she’s not just modeling clothes, she’s modeling what it means to live with style, soul, and serious staying power.
