Maybe you think you’re above it, but baby, we know that you love soft and creamy mascarpone cheese. That’s why you need to make our Red Carpet Massacre-inspired fruit dip for your next Duranie gathering. Perfect for Oscars and GRAMMY parties too. Stilettos-ON, girls.

Mascarpone cheese is a creamy, soft cheese that originates from Italy that has a rich and velvety texture making it perfect as a spread for an appetizer tray, fruit dip for the kids, or as a dessert topped with vanilla cake and chocolate shavings.

Red Carpet Mascarpone Dip Ingredients:

1/2 cup raspberry jam or puree
1/2 cup Mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
juice and zest from 1 lemon or lime
Fruits (apples, strawberries, raspberries, etc) and crackers and cookies for dipping
Optional: a splash of beetroot juice if you want a more intense red color

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, combine the raspberry jam or puree, Mascarpone cheese, and Greek yogurt. Mix until well combined.
Add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
Stir in the lemon or lime juice and zest.
If desired, add a splash of beetroot juice to enhance the red color of the dip.
Refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve the Mascarpone raspberry dip/spread with fruits, crackers, and cookies for dipping.
