When Duran Duran bring their tour to Arena Sofia, the band will be performing in one of the largest and most modern concert venues in Sofia. Located near the expansive Borisova Gradina, the arena sits just east of the city center and is a major hub for international concerts, sporting events, and touring productions. Arena Sofia—often still referred to by its original name, Arena Armeec—opened in 2011 and quickly became Bulgaria’s premier indoor venue. With a capacity of roughly 12,000–15,000 people depending on configuration, the arena regularly hosts global touring acts and large cultural events. Its modern staging capabilities and central location make it the natural stop for major European concert tours passing through the Balkans.
