The open-air venue’s stone terraces and dramatic acoustics make it one of Europe’s most atmospheric places to see a live show. \nFor Duran Duran\, Verona is not new territory. The band has performed at the Arena several times across different eras of their career\, returning whenever touring schedules bring them back to Italy. The concert takes place in the palace’s vast outdoor grounds in Caserta\, just north of Naples\, as part of the band’s summer 2026 European tour. \nOften called the “Italian Versailles\,” the Royal Palace of Caserta is one of the largest royal residences ever built. Completed in the 18th century for the Bourbon kings of Naples\, the UNESCO World Heritage site features a monumental Baroque palace\, miles of formal gardens\, fountains\, and sweeping landscaped grounds that stretch more than two miles from the palace façade to the distant hills. Its massive courtyard and gardens have become a dramatic setting for open-air concerts and cultural events\, offering a backdrop unlike almost any other venue in Europe. \nThe site has also appeared in numerous films and television productions—including Star Wars: The Phantom Menace\, Mission: Impossible III\, and House of the Dragon—thanks to its grand staircases\, ornate interiors\, and cinematic scale. \nFor Duran Duran\, the 2026 performance marks their first known appearance at La Reggia di Caserta.
